New Video on YouTube about Expat Activities
Pickleball, Croquet and Dominoes abroad...plus crazy clips at the end
What do you do when you move to Portugal? We need fun and activity mixed with socialization right? I got addicted to pickleball while filming this video. Then I have so much fun learning croquet while enjoying so many happy and active people in the Algarve of Portugal. Enjoy the journey as I share my ex-pat life abroad.
At the end of the video, we joke a bit about British English words vs American English (Bringlish?)
BUGGY=GOLF CART
JUMPER=SWEATER
FORTNIGHT=2 WEEKS
SUNDOWNER=HAPPY HOUR AS THE SUN SETS
TOILET=RESTROOM
AND NEVER SAY FANNY (IT’S NOT THE BEHIND IT’S THE FRONT).
YOU’RE INVITED!!! If you’re here now in the Algarve then join us in some active activities…here are some great links:

Cheers from Portugal from your American in Portugal.
If you visit Lisbon we can play table tennis, aka ping-pong. I m a huge fan and I practice indoor twice a week, with 2 friends, since October (after 20 years without playing). Soon I´m writing about it being the World's best brain sport 🏓😍.
